AQA Love and Relationships Annotated Anthology

Every poem has a full set of annotations. The resource can be used in several ways.

1. As a traditional revision guide or companion
2. As the basis for further discussion and annotation
3. As something students can use to cross-reference their work
4. As something to help absent students catch-up

I made the resource on a Word document, so all students need to do is click on the highlighted lines and the relevant notes box will come forward. You can also copy-and-paste the notes onto a document or revision guide of your own.

The other thing that’s worth keeping in mind is that the notes will all appear together if you print a hard copy. This is also the case if you view the PDF version (included in the download) or print it out. My recommendation is to use the PDF version if you’re emailing students or putting the document on a shared area – it just makes it easier to engage with and read.

The margins on the document are ‘normal’ and the lines are 1.5 spaced, so there’s plenty of room and nothing should feel squished.

Last thing: all the notes are fully editable, so you can adjust the resource to suit the needs of you students.
