Example Recap Tasks for Jekyll and Hyde | KS4 Teaching Resource
Typically, I spend the first five minutes or so at the beginning of each lesson on a recap task. They’re usually pretty unglamorous, but I think they work well and very little planning’s involved. I’ve included examples below from some of my lessons on Jekyll and Hyde.
- List five things
- Three points and three quotations
- Thirty word response
- Basic questions
- Define and match the adjectives
- Analyse the extract
- Find the quotations
- Identify the character
- Quotation questions
- Identify the speaker and chapter
- Multiple-choice question
- Find the adjectives
You can access the template slides here – they should be easy to adapt.
