Click here to access a one-pager of ‘big’ revision questions for An Inspector Calls, Macbeth and the AQA Power and Conflict poems that I shared on Twitter a few days ago.
Spent a load of time faffing around trying to stitch together some pretty disparate revision resources into a booklet. Made things far too complicated. Have opted for a one-pager of revision questions instead >> https://t.co/UreNKebV0T #TeamEnglish pic.twitter.com/42VKcVckf4

The questions are designed to be explored in class and, combined, should encompass most of the stuff that’s necessary for the exam. For example, discussions around question nine on theatrical devices in An Inspector Calls could include…
- Morality play conventions
- Staging of the opening scene
- Stage directions throughout the play
- The change in lighting
- Character dress
- Building of tension between acts
- The absence of Eva Smith on stage
Hope the document’s useful –
